One plan for every masjid

Start with 30 days free

• No card is needed for the trial. It starts the day your masjid is published, on your masjid's own calendar.
• We email your owners and treasurers on day 23 and on day 29.
• If you add a card during the trial, nothing is charged until the trial, and any sponsored months, are over.
• If the trial ends with no card and nothing paid or sponsored, the plan pauses on day 31. Your prayer times keep showing, and the Office can be read but not changed until a card is added.
• A masjid gets one trial. Publishing again does not start another.

Founding masjids

The first 25 masjids to start paying keep their price for life, on either plan, as long as the plan never lapses for more than 6 months in a row.

All 25 founding places are still open.

• The founding price is $69 a month or $690 a year, or $34.50 and $345 once half price is confirmed, whatever the price for new masjids becomes.
• A place is given at a masjid's first paid invoice, in the order payments arrive. The free trial does not count.
• A lapse is a time when the plan is paused or has ended, with nothing paid or sponsored. While a plan is lapsed, Billing shows the date the founding price would end.

Half price for musallas and student groups

Musallas and student groups pay half: $34.50 a month or $345 a year, once we confirm it.

• An owner or treasurer asks from Billing and says in a sentence or two what makes the masjid one. We confirm it or decline it, and the answer shows in Billing.
• Once it is confirmed, a card added later goes on half price, and a plan already running moves to it from its next payment.
• If your masjid stops being one, please tell us. Half price then ends at the plan's next renewal after we tell you it ends.

Sponsors

Anyone may pay for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months of your masjid's plan as a gift, from its sponsor page. Twelve months cost $690, like the yearly plan.

For a masjid on half price, a sponsor pays half these amounts.

• A sponsorship pays Muslim.Blue, a for-profit company, for the plan. It is not a donation to the masjid, and it is not tax-deductible.
• A sponsor may stay anonymous. Your masjid sees a sponsor's name only when the sponsor allows it.
• Sponsored months are added once Stripe confirms the payment. A card on file is not charged for them, and a paused masjid that is sponsored runs again.

What is free, and what the plan adds

Every masjid in the United States has a page on Muslim.Blue, listed from public records, whether or not anyone runs it. Claiming it is free.

Gifts and their fees

Gifts go straight to your masjid's own Stripe account, and Muslim.Blue takes 0% of them. Stripe charges its own fee, and donors can choose to cover it.

• The "cover the fees" box is checked when the giving page opens, and it shows the exact amount. A donor who leaves it checked adds Stripe's fee, so your masjid receives the whole gift.
• Card readers for the lobby are bought in your masjid's own Stripe account, at Stripe's price. Blue adds nothing.
• Refunds are your masjid's decision. Stripe does not give back its own fee on a refund, and the Office shows how much before a refund is confirmed.

For members, not for your masjid

This is a separate, optional plan that a person chooses for themselves in the app. A masjid never pays for it, and it is not part of the masjid plan above.

Following a masjid, giving and joining are free for members. Muslim.Blue Premium, for the Muslim.Blue app, is optional: $5.99 a month or $39.99 a year.

Today it removes every ad in the app and opens the Emerald, Sand and Plum themes, detailed statistics in the prayer and fasting tracker, and more journal templates. On the web it has no free trial, and sales tax is added where it applies.

Billing, renewals and canceling

Paying

• An owner or treasurer adds a card on Stripe's own secure page, and opens Stripe's billing page from Billing to update it and see every receipt. Only owners and treasurers see Billing.
• Switching between monthly and yearly takes effect at the plan's next renewal. Until then your masjid keeps the plan it has, and no credit is given for the time left on it.

Renewals and price changes

• The plan renews on its own, each month or each year, until it is canceled. Before a card is added, the owner or treasurer checks a box to confirm it, and we email a confirmation with the plan, its renewal terms and how to cancel.
• About 45 days before a yearly plan renews, we email its date, its price and how to cancel before then.
• We email your owners and treasurers at least 30 days before a new price applies to your plan. A founding masjid is never moved.

Canceling

• An owner or treasurer cancels online from Billing at any time, and the plan runs to the end of the period already paid for. No call or email is needed, and "Keep the plan" takes it back until then.
• If your masjid cancels a yearly plan, we refund each whole month left in the year it paid for. Ask at support@muslim.blue. A monthly plan runs to the end of the month already paid for, with no refund.
• When a plan stops, your prayer times keep showing everywhere, the Office can be read but not changed, and refunds, dispute evidence and exports keep working. Nothing is deleted.
